Talking to myself about Podcasting

Podcasting is not about talking for hours and having nice mics and cameras. It's not about celebrity guests, drinking tea, or smoking weed with a CEO.

Podcasting is about creating genuine authentic conversations without the limits of traditional media.

Authenticity and Genuineness can be achieved only if you're not a slave of views and sponsors.

Freedom from views and sponsors can be achieved only if you don't need it to make money or get social approval. Get those from somewhere else.

Recording a podcast shouldn't be done because other people are doing it.

Recording a podcast should be done because nobody will record it unless you do it yourself, and you should do it because it's art that you believe must exist.

You are not "successful" just because you talked to someone "successful".

Obsess over quality, and forget about quantity.

It's an infinite game with no winners or losers.

Don't do it to network, do it to make real friends.

Stop to reflect. If you don't miss it after you stop, don't return.
